Anchovy Abundance Continues!

Anchovy abundance continues in Amasra,

Fishing boats fishing around Amasra returned to Tarlaağzı port with tons of anchovies in the morning.

Fishing boats coming from various provinces and fishing off the coast of Amasra entered the port with tons of local anchovies. The anchovies on the boat were loaded onto trucks filling the fishing harbor and shipped to surrounding provinces. While anchovies were given free of charge to citizens coming to the port, those who filled bags and buckets with anchovies headed home.

Recep Sıbıç, the owner of the boat belonging to Eyüpoğlu Fisheries, who came to the port with 90 personnel, stated in his statement that they caught around 350 tons of fish off the coast of Bartın and Amasra.

The abundance of anchovy in Amasra made both fishermen and local citizens happy.
