  1. Ahh, how beautiful were the old years, when we were children, I know my grandfather's stories about Amasra Bartın and its surroundings. He used to tell Çakraz Bartın's journeys on horses. Where do you leave the horses now? If you walk on the road, you will get hit by a car... Thank you for your efforts, we miss the old state of Amasra...

  2. In 1948/49, when I was 12/13 years old, I spent my summer breaks at the DC camp there. Now, when I am 80 years old, I remember those days. For this, I searched old photos.
She is no longer the Amasra I know. At that time, there was a public library and a municipality in the square behind the small harbour. I remember very well that there was a round "SUNSDIAT" in the navel, left over from the time of the Romans. Now no one knows where he is. Who knows which museum there is? How did it disappear?
    What a pity. Respects
    Prof. Dr. Alp Kunkar-Italy
