HEAD OF YÖKTA SARAÇ WILL PARTICIPATE IN CULTURE AND ART INTERVIEWS TO BE ORGANIZED AT BU
President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. MA Yekta Saraç will participate in the 'Culture and Art Talks' program organized by YÖK at Bartın University.
President of YÖK Prof. Dr. MA Yekta Saraç held at Bartın University 'Cultural Art Talks' will meet with students and faculty members. Bartin University Rector Prof. Dr. Ramazan Kaplan made a statement on the subject: “The first of the interviews to be organized by YÖK at our newly established universities in different regions every month. It will be held at Bartın University on Thursday, November 19th.
Our YÖK President Prof. Dr. MA Yekta Saraç, YÖK members and Atatürk Cultural Center President Prof. Dr. Turan Karataş will attend the event, Istanbul University Faculty of Economics Department of Political Science and International Relations Lecturer Prof. Dr. Namık Sinan Turan will give a talk on 'Two Voices One World Umm Kulthum and Fairuz, Music and Society in the Middle East'. Before the talk, Lecturer Bilen Işıktaş will present a concert.”
First Event at Bartın University
Interviews will be held with the participation of well-known people or experts in the fields of literature, music, mysticism, philosophy, cinema, traditional Turkish decorative arts, sports, history, sociology and psychology.
While it is thought to create a friendly atmosphere with students in culture and art talks, it is also aimed for university students to establish a connection between the past and the future in the developing world.
